Terms of Service

Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Nusa Nova platform at nusanova.co. By accessing or using our service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. About Nusa Nova
Nusa Nova is a luxury property and fitness discovery platform connecting guests with curated villa stays, gyms, and wellness experiences in Bali, Indonesia. We act as a marketplace — we do not own the properties listed on the platform unless explicitly stated.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a booking
- You must provide accurate and complete information when registering
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials
- One person may not maintain multiple accounts
3. Bookings and Payments
Making a booking
When you submit a booking request, you are making an offer to the host. Your booking is confirmed only when you receive a written confirmation from Nusa Nova. For concierge bookings, confirmation is provided via WhatsApp or email after the host approves availability.
Pricing
All prices are displayed in USD or IDR as selected. Prices include the nightly rate, cleaning fee, and a service fee. Prices are subject to change and are not guaranteed until a booking is confirmed. Seasonal pricing and minimum stay requirements apply as stated on each listing.
Payments
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing a booking you authorise us to charge the total amount shown at checkout. We do not store your payment card details.
Taxes
Displayed prices may not include local Indonesian taxes (VAT/PPN) where applicable. Any applicable taxes will be disclosed before payment is finalised.
4. Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation policies vary by property and are displayed on each listing page. The applicable policy at the time of booking confirmation governs your reservation.
- Flexible — Full refund if cancelled 24 hours before check-in
- Moderate — Full refund if cancelled 5 days before check-in
- Strict — 50% refund if cancelled 7 days before check-in. No refund within 7 days.
Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days. Nusa Nova service fees are non-refundable. In cases of extraordinary circumstances (force majeure, natural disaster, government restrictions) we will work with guests and hosts to reach a fair resolution.
5. Guest Responsibilities
As a guest, you agree to:
- Treat the property and its contents with care and respect
- Not exceed the maximum guest count stated in the listing
- Comply with house rules provided by the host at check-in
- Not use the property for illegal activities, parties, events, or commercial purposes unless agreed in writing
- Report any damage promptly to Nusa Nova
- Vacate the property by the stated check-out time
You may be held liable for damage to the property beyond normal wear and tear. Nusa Nova reserves the right to charge the payment method on file for documented damages.
6. Host Responsibilities
As a host, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and up-to-date information about your property
- Ensure your listing complies with all applicable Indonesian laws and regulations
- Maintain the property in a clean, safe, and habitable condition
- Honour confirmed bookings — cancellation of confirmed bookings by hosts may result in penalties and removal from the platform
- Not discriminate against guests on any unlawful basis
- Obtain all necessary permits and licences for short-term rental operation
7. Platform Rules
You agree not to:
- Use the platform to transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
- Attempt to circumvent the platform by communicating directly with hosts or guests to avoid fees after initial contact through Nusa Nova
- Post false, misleading, or defamatory reviews or content
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce platform content without written permission
- Use automated tools to access or interact with the platform
- Impersonate any person or entity
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the Nusa Nova platform — including text, images, logos, design, and software — is owned by or licensed to Nusa Nova and is protected by copyright and intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.
By submitting content to the platform (photos, reviews, listing descriptions), you grant Nusa Nova a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with our services.
9. Disclaimers
Nusa Nova is a marketplace and is not responsible for the actions, omissions, or conduct of hosts or guests. We do not endorse any listing or guarantee the accuracy of listing descriptions.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nusa Nova shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the platform or any booking made through it — including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, property damage, or personal injury.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms shall not exceed the total amount paid by you in bookings in the 12 months preceding the claim.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Indonesia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bali, Indonesia.
12. Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
13. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Termination does not affect any rights or obligations that arose before termination.
